History
The son of Adalgar Bolger and husband of Belba Baggins, Rudigar became head of the Bolger Family as the eldest heir. He had one son, Herugar.[1]
Etymology
The name contains hrod "fame" and gar "spear".[2] It is the Middle High German form of Old English Hrothgar and modern Roger.
