I think maybe we should make a article about Balin's battle for Moria or about the colony. Which as far as I know there isn't any, just references to them in other articles. Dwarf Lord

Name

So…any particular reason this page is named one thing but the infobox and online have a completely different name? Aeglos (talk) 21:22, 19 April 2025 (UTC)Reply[reply]

If you use the "View history" function to look at past edits, you will see that the current state of this page is, because the user Dour1235 delted the unnamed tag and changed the name in the infobox and in the introductory sentence from Battle of the Chamber of Mazarbul and battle of the Chamber of Mazarbul, respectively to Battle of the Bridge of Khazad-dûm in an edit on 4 April 2023 with the comment "Proper name" although the Battle section of the page ist still about the larger battle in the Chamber of Mazarbul and the Aftermath section is about the smaller battle on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm between Gandalf and the Balrog. The User Dour1234 seems to speculate that when J.R.R. Tolkien used a term in his own notes for an event on a day in the chronology of The Lord of the Rings that were a working tool for the writing process and for making Appendix B that J.R.R. Tolkien wanted to assign an official name to that event. However this is speculation and should not have been a reason to insert this title, especially because it is not about the battle that is primarily covered on that page. --Akhôrahil (talk) 14:07, 21 April 2025 (UTC)Reply[reply]
…okay.
Shouldn’t we probably settle any naming issue and make the appropriate changes then? --Aeglos (talk) 20:05, 9 June 2025 (UTC)Reply[reply]
