Whence the hyphenation? I only know this name from the index of the Silmarillion (s.v. Finrod) where it is without hyphens: "Finrod - - - called 'the Faithful' and 'the Friend of Men'." --Tik 18:29, 4 March 2008 (EST)
- The hyphenated version is located in The Lord of the Rings, Appendices, Tale of Years. I'm not 100% sure which one is more canon but the hyphenated one works for me, although we should definitely redirect the non-hyphenated version here at least. --Hyarion 21:09, 4 March 2008 (EST)
