And what about the ndor/norë confusion? Númenor could translate to either "West Land" from Numen + ndor, or "People of the West" from Numen + norë.—Unsigned comment by Reallyfat (talk • contribs).

I'm not sure what you mean. Either Númenórë is a form appearing in Tolkien's writings or not (which would be good to know). If you want to include something about the etymology of the name itself (like, e.g., the elements of which it is composed), it should be from an acknowledged source.--Morgan 10:01, 14 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
