The Lord of the Rings is a fan-made role-playing game using the RPG Maker 2000 engine, adapting Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The game features over 30 hours of content, allowing players to control over 15 playable characters. The game mixes pixel art with edited pictures taken from the films.[2]
A demo for the game was released in 2005, with the full game being released in 2007. An updated version was released in 2022.[1]
