The Trilogy was a planned video game that covered both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, designed by a developer under the pseudonym "Smeagol 88". It was developed with Klik & Play, and later with Multimedia Fusion, with game-development engines designed by Clickteam. Early beta versions of the game could be downloaded but the full game was cancelled in 2000 and never released.
