Ambiguities
The following statement leaves me wondering:
«Unfortunately we will not allow sites who use advertisements to profit as the network is strictly for non-profit purposes. Any content which fringes upon the Middle-earth Enterprises or Tolkien Estate copyright is also not prohibited.»
The intention behind the first sentence is clear, its exact consequences unfortunately remain ambiguous. The second sentence is actually so impenetrable that from it completely opposite intentions could be argued. Without being sure at all about what actually should be said I can’t clear up the paragraph, but it needs to be cleared up. — Mithrennaith 01:32, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- I am going to sort out all the articles in the Tolkien Gateway namespace. I'll ask Hyarion about this one. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 07:05, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
