Angbor (stone)

The Angbor or Doom-rock was a great flat stone in the Forest of Brethil.

History

The Angbor was a stone that was located at the center of the Moot-ring, the place where the Haladin held meetings of judgement. During these meetings, the Halad would sit on the stone itself. During the judgement of Húrin on the charge of assaulting the Halad, the meeting turned into a riot, largely ending the Haladin's existence as a coherent people.
