Notable events in this year include:

A legion of orcs passes into Brethil and is defeated by the Haladin with the aid of Beleg of Doriath.^[1]
Following the battle, Húrin and Huor become lost and cross the Brithiach and wander into Dimbar. Spotted by Thorondor, they are rescued and taken to Gondolin.^[2]
