The Years of the Sun was the time after the first rising of the Sun in the First Age until the present.[1][2]
The unit of time of the Years of the Sun was the coranar ("sun-round"), also referred to as a loa ("growth"). Both terms equate to 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, 46 seconds.[3]
