Ferdinand Took was a Hobbit of the Shire.

Ferdinand was the son of Sigismond Took. He was the father of Ferdibrand. They both attended Bilbo Baggins' Farewell Party in S.R. 1401.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
The name is composed of ferdi "peace" + nand "daring, brave".
