I have specificed a valid email address, but for some reason the email confirmation won't work. Should email confirmation be required to edit pages?

- This is a known problem. See here, here and here (incidentally, Special:Emailuser does not work, either). As far as I know, you should have no trouble editing any pages, but, I admit, it is an inconvenience should you, for example, forget your password.
- I don't think confirmation e-mail should be required to edit pages, as I think anonymous users should be allowed to edit. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 11:30, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

- I just noticed e-mail confirmation is still not working, i.e. it still refuses to recognise a valid e-mail address — Mithrennaith 22:01, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
