Myrtle Burrows was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History[edit]
She was the third child and only daughter of Milo and Peony Burrows. When she was eight years old, with her family, she was present at Bilbo's famous Birthday Party, in S.R. 1401.[1]
Etymology[edit]
The name Myrtle refers to the genus of plants with evergreen leaves, white-pink flowers and fragrant berries. The name derives from ancient Greek μύρτος through Latin.[2]
