I'm puzzled. Where do all these years of birth and death for the lords of Éothéod come from? Is there in some new publication some family tree of which I'm not aware? Surely there's no information as accurate as that in Unfinished Tales (nor in LotR)! --Haltiamieli 16:05, 9 December 2007 (EST)

Fifth(?) Lord, great-grandson(?) of Forthwini[edit source]

Michael Martinez's inferences are reasonable but not logically inevitable based on the evidence we have. It would make sense for Marh to be the father of Frumgar and son of Forthwini. However, considering we don't even know this character's entire name and our evidence for asserting his family relations is circumstantial, I feel that this is too uncertain to occupy such a prominent place in either Fram or Frumgar's articles. I think this speculation is sufficiently well-founded to remain in these articles somewhere, but not in the lead. --Mord 05:49, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
