I was reading the Wanderings of Hurin today and clocked a note which would suggest this may be a redirect worth reverting. Aparently at some point, Tolkien decided to tighten the definition of the word Haladin to refer not to the entire people of the House of Haleth but just to the noble house, the descendants of Haldad. Considering that this comes from a late writing (The Wanderings of Hurin were among the last dealing with the first age) this could be taken as 'canon' and thus worthy of an independant article.
