I'm rewatching ROP before season 2 and writing summaries here. It is very challenging to restrain snarky comments, interesting notes, and general observations and opinions so I may add some in these discussions at time. Durin III's beard has horrible mouse whiskers. Nori hands the Stranger the most glorious, symmetrical Hobby Lobby apple I've ever seen in my life. Halbrand's hair is the worst in this episode. I don't know what was going on in wigs while they were filming this but it doesn't fit his forehead quite right. I do think there's some interesting Babylonian/Akkadian type imagery going on in the dwarven realm. Also Disa continues to be a glorious queen. Lorehouse (talk) 02:55, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Between the Mystics acting in Weird Sister fashion and Disa playing a bit of a Lady Macbeth to Durin IV, this whole episode has some Macbeth undercurrents that make me very uncomfortable for our "good guys". Lorehouse (talk) 03:07, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

- While I agree that it looks like the film version, the film version had actual wings while the show version had more smoke-like illusive wings.Dour1234 (talk) 06:26, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
