Council of the Rings, welcome!

Hello and welcome to Tolkien Gateway. I hope you like the place and choose to join our work. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and we look forward to your future edits. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the Council forums or ask me on my talk page. Keep up the great work! — Hyarion

edit to the Brodda's hall page

When you created your user account you were informed about a few links to pages for newcomers, including a link to the Tolkien Gateway Manuel of Style. You did not adhere to the Tolkien Gateway Manual of Style in your edit to the Brodda's hall page, because you used present tense there instead of past tense, which should be used on all pages that cover in-universe content such as Brodda's hall. As a result there was a mix of past tense and present tense on the page after your edit. A more experienced user already corrected your edit in the meantime. I strongly recommend to read the Tolkien Gateway Manual of Style and the Help:References page. --Akhôrahil (talk) 14:19, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
