War of the Ring

Hi! I'm having a hard time finding information about a War of the Ring board game released in 1979, it seems like most sources seem to indicate it was released in 1977. Is 1979 accurate? Thanks! Hyarion (talk) 19:53, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
