Nessanië was the daughter of Hallatan of Hyarastorni, a descendant of Elros in the sixth generation. Her younger brother was Hallacar, spouse of Tar-Ancalimë, Queen of Númenor.[1]
Etymology
Nessanië is a Quenya name. Its meaning is not glossed, but Paul Strack suggests it is a variation of the name of the Vala Nessa.[2]
