Brego (scene) is the twenty-fourth scene of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (extended edition). This scene was not featured in the theatrical release of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Men of Rohan try to calm a panicked horse in the stables. Aragorn sees this and is told that the horse is half mad. Nonetheless, he slowly approaches it and calms it down.
Éowyn tells him that the horse's name is Brego and that he belonged to Théodred. She tells him that she is surprised to find the magic of the Elves in a Ranger. In response, he tells her that he was raised in Rivendell, and that Brego has seen enough of war and should be set free.
