Delin
From Tolkien Gateway
Delin son of Gelmir was a Gnome, according to the early version of the legendarium in a prose fragment following The Book of Lost Tales.[1]
History[edit]

Gnome Banners by LorenzoCB
After the Gnomes returned to the Great Lands to wage war with Melko, Delin led one of the three great armies of his father Gelmir. His standard (banner) was that of a "green beech-leaf upon silver diapered with golden flowers", and his army preferred spears over other weapons.[1]
Beyond this point in the story, nothing else is known about him.[2]
Etymology[edit]
The name Delin seems to be in Noldorin, but its meaning is uncertain.
