Freda is a girl of Rohan who was sent to Edoras with her brother. Freda was invented by Warner Bros. for The Lord of the Rings film series, where she was portrayed by Olivia Tennet.
History[edit | edit source]
Freda and her older brother Éothain were sent by their mother Morwen to alert King Théoden that the Wild Men were pillaging through Rohan. Éothain and Freda were kept safe at Edoras until Théoden led his people to Helm's Deep, where they were reunited with their mother.
