Gee, the picture here showed Minas Arnor. Removed. --Thalion 13:06, 14 March 2008 (EDT)
- There aren't many pictures of this MT. But we do have one from Tolkien himself: "The Vale of Sirion", TAI 55. -- Ederchil 13:19, 14 March 2008 (EDT)
Merge into Tol Sirion
Minas Tirith and Tol Sirion are effectively synonymous; I recommend we merge the two together. Oberiko (talk) 16:25, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Disagree. Tumladen is not the same as Gondolin. Also it will be more confusing if a reader confuses this Minas Tirith with Gondor's if they found themselves redirected to Tol Sirion's article. Quentandil (talk) 17:18, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- I also disagree. However, while on this subject, I believe that Tol Sirion and Tol-in-Gaurhoth could potentially be merged.Dour1234 (talk) 21:41, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Also disagree, simply on the merits that Tol Sirion is the name of a landmass, Minas Tirith is the name of a city. Qalten (talk) 22:12, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Minas Tirith (in Beleriand) is the name of a tower, not a city, but, regardless, your point is still valid.Dour1234 (talk) 00:07, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
