The Beacons is a Fan Film produced by a group of French Lord of the Rings enthusiasts. They shot the short film in Auvergne, France in 2024[1] It was released on 2 October 2025

Synopsis

Borlas, a soldier of Gondor, is alerted: the beacons are lit. Danger lurks. After lighting his own, he realizes the next one does not ignite. The chain is broken. The kingdom is in peril.
