Noldor vs. Ñoldor

Ah I see your on the Ñoldor side as opposed to Noldor. I'm unaware of which is considered more canonical but I tend to see Noldor used more often, in fact Wikipedia is one of the only websites I've seen who use the accented version. Can you enlighten me on the subject? If Ñoldor is in fact more canonical then we should probably go through and change all the references to match it. Thanks for the contributions! --Hyarion 23:33, 15 April 2006 (EDT)

Images by...

Hello Ebakunin, just wanted to thank you for your constant contributions, it's really helping us to grow. If we keep up this pace we should be able to get more editors in no time, that's when it gets more fun. One thought I had regarding adding [[Category:Images of Ents]], what if instead of adding it to the Images of Ents category, because we probably should keep that restricted to actual images; we added something like:
===See also===
* [[:Category:Images of Ents|Images of Ents]]
Let me know what you think. --Hyarion 21:46, 22 April 2006 (EDT)

Essë image

Good idea to start uploading Tengwar letters. I've had that on my todo list for a while. Does the source you downloaded Essë.gif from have all the other letters as well? It would be nice if we got all the letters around the same size/quality/etc. --Hyarion 13:38, 28 April 2006 (EDT)

Awesome contributions Ebakunin! I can only hope we can get some more editors as dedicated. Just a thought, maybe we should hold off on the redirects for now since we are still discussing them. I'm kind of leaning for not doing the redirects and leaving a short description of the word. This would work well if we have an article for every Quenya, Sindarin, etc word and what it means. I'm also worried if someone gets redirected they might become confused and not be able to find the answer to their question (like what does Fangorn mean)--Hyarion 00:39, 3 May 2006 (EDT)

Sorry, I thought the redirect issue had been settled. I'll stop the changes until I hear otherwise. Don't want to step on anyone's toes. Thanks. --Ebakunin 00:43, 3 May 2006 (EDT)
Hehe, no worries. The great thing about wikis are anything can be undone quite easily :) There's a good chance we will just redirect everything anyway so no point in undoing anything. Thanks again for all your help, the encyclopedia is really coming along quite nicely. --Hyarion 00:57, 3 May 2006 (EDT)

As I've already said in the Forum discussion, I think all the different names should have their own entry with (at least) an explanation of the entry and a link to the "chief article". --Earendilyon 08:58, 3 May 2006 (EDT)

Congratulations, Ebakunin, for reaching 1000 edits! --Narfil Palùrfalas 05:29, 18 May 2006 (EDT)

A few things

Heyo Ebakunin! Just wanted to thank you for your nonstop work on the wiki as its been a dream come true to see so many people contributing, finally the months of tedious editing by myself is paying off. If we can keep up this pace its only a matter of time before more and more people begin to help.

On another note, I noticed you tend to add the categories for images after they are uploaded, if you like you can shorten the process by simply adding in the categories on the upload page. It is a bit misleading when it says "Summary" because what it really means is "Content that goes below the image". Also don't forget to add some info to your user page as I'm sure we'd love to know a bit more about you. If you ever want talk about anything I'm usually on IRC at or for the java client. Thanks and keep up the great work! --Hyarion 02:12, 31 May 2006 (EDT)

Welcome back :)

Heyo, hadn't seen you for a while; thought we lost you. Welcome back :) --Hyarion 04:11, 30 September 2006 (EDT)
