Westmoot

Westmoot is a convention, inspired by the success of Oxonmoot, aimed at US members of the The Tolkien Society. The inaugural event took place in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday May 9 - Sunday May 11, 2025 at the National World War I Museum and Memorial.^[1]

The event features a range of presentations, including talks, quizzes, lectures, workshops, performances, papers, discussions, and entertainment, providing a rich and engaging experience for all attendees.

Westmoot 2026 will be held on May 22nd-24th in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown.^[2] The official t-shirt for Westmoot 2026 was designed by Matěj Čadil.^[3]
