Ektelarni

From Tolkien Gateway

Ektelarni were most likely the fays of fountains, according to the early version of the legendarium associated with The Book of Lost Tales.[1]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The name Ektelarni is in Qenya, probably being related to the word ektele or kektele ("fountain"),[1] with kektele being derived from the root KELE ("flow, run; ooze, trickle").[2]
