Kheledûl is a Dwarven port at the Lhûn held by the Dourhands in the game The Lord of the Rings Online.
History
Kheledûl was originally founded by Thorin when he built Thorin's Hall, as a port to trade with Zigilgund upstream in Forochel, or maybe with the Elves of Duillond, Celondim and Mithlond, and far away in the south to the White Mountains.[1] When he found the city, he built a spire: the founding Spire of Kheledûl.[2]
But at the time of the War of the Ring, the docks are overtaken by Skorgrím's Dourhands and it is now an evil place to come. They use it as a base to further the operations of Angmar.
Etymology
Kheledûl is comprised of the Khuzdul word kheled, which means "glass", such as in Kheled-zâram, Mirrormere,[3] and ûl, which has no particular meaning.
