Letter to Jennifer Brookes-Smith (28 July 1955)

On 28 July 1955, J.R.R. Tolkien wrote a letter to Jennifer Brookes-Smith (name also given as "Jennifer Paxman").[1][2]
- Subject(s): Replying to a letter written in March, Tolkien apologises for having been busy.[2] Among the subjects Tolkien discusses in the letter are the production of the Appendices and map for The Return of the King and an impending trip to Gondor: Pelargir and Lossarnach - identified as Italy: Venice and Assisi.[1]
