The Guiðlin were a group of people that invaded Tol Eressëa during the Faring Forth, according to the early version of the legendarium in The Book of Lost Tales.
Later, they were conquered by Hengest and Horsa, the sons of Eriol.[1]
According to John Garth, they were likely identified with the Gaels.[2]
