- The Second Kinslaying. The Sons of Fëanor attack Doriath seeking the Silmaril.[1]
- Dior slays Celegorm. Death of Curufin and Caranthir. Dior, and his wife Nimloth, are killed.[2]
- Eluréd and Elurín are abandoned to die.[1]
- Elwing flees Doriath with the last Silmaril.[2]
