Michael D.C. Drout (b. 3 May 1968) is a professor of English and Chair of the English Department at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.
Along with Douglas A. Anderson and Verlyn Flieger, Drout is a founding editor of Tolkien Studies: An Annual Scholarly Review.[1] He is also a member of the Board of Academic Advisors for Walking Tree Publishers.[2]
